St. Barnabas HospitalMobile Mammography Free mammography screening, a clinical breast exam and education of self-breast examination provided to the poor and uninsured throughout the Bronx.

Breast Cancer Support and Networking Groups conducted by Gilda’s Club Westchester offer support to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and provide lectures, workshops and social events in a non-residential home-like setting.

Cancer Care of Long Island – “Breast Cancer Support and Education Project” Free, professional support services including education, information, referrals to additional sources of support, counseling and financial assistance is provided to women diagnosed with breast cancer on Long Island.

“Strength to Strength”Wellness Program – Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center This breast cancer wellness and aftercare program for women who are completing treatment is designed to restore strength, flexibility and a positive body image in the wake of their treatment.

Necessities, Inc.“Necessities Bag” Bags are designed for the pre and post mastectomy patient filled with essentials for wound care, hygiene and personal comfort.

Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Southampton Hospital Through community health fairs, material is distributed explaining the role genetics plays in cancer, who may be at higher risk for breast cancer, and why early detection is important.
