St. Barnabas Hospital - Mobile Mammography Free mammography screening, a clinical breast exam and education of self-breast examination provided to the poor and uninsured throughout the Bronx.

South Nassau Communities Hospital – “Breast Cancer Navigation Program”  This program conducts breast cancer patient navigation services to assist breast cancer patients of the South Nassau Cancer Center located in Oceanside, which treats 350 breast cancer patients annually from diagnosis through treatment and follow up.

Adelphi University – “Breast Cancer Educational Forum Series”  A series of four breast cancer forums to provide updated and innovative information related to breast cancer.  Topics are medical, emotional, psychological, legal and inspirational in nature.

New York Hospital Queens – “Cancer Resource Room”  The Cancer Resource Room, located in the lobby of the Cancer Center, will ensure access to and address the lack of culturally competent health information both in print and online, which is especially important for the diverse community that New York Hospital Queens serves.

Necessities, Inc. – “Necessities Bag” – Bags are designed for the pre and post mastectomy patient filled with essentials for wound care, hygiene and personal comfort. Program

Cancer Care, Inc. – “Breast Cancer Support and Education Project”. Free, professional support services including education, information, referrals to additional sources of support, counseling and financial assistance is provided to women diagnosed with breast cancer on Long Island.

Support Connection - Customized Care and Information Hotline and Services Individualized information and support is provided to women with breast cancer and their families via telephone. Customized information packets are then designed to meet the need of each individual caller.

“Strength to Strength”Wellness Program – Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center This breast cancer wellness and aftercare program for women who are completing treatment is designed to restore strength, flexibility and a positive body image in the wake of their treatment.
